Naruto: is Sasuke Uchiha beyond saving?

Seeing as Sasuke was willing to kill both Karin and Sakura without hesitation, and that he has taken is brother's eyes to gain the power to obtain revenge, would you consider Sasuke to be beyond salvation/redemption? Should Naruto kill him, or continue trying to save him?
